Reading on its official website announced the re-signing of the famous center forward Andy Carroll, for whom Liverpool paid Newcastle more than 40 million euros in May 2013.
The 33-year-old Englishman has signed a short-term four-month deal with the Championship club until mid-January 2023. For the new “old” club, Carroll will have the opportunity to play 19 matches.
It should be noted that after nine rounds, Reading is on the fourth line of the Championship, having won five and suffered four defeats.
Carroll has already featured for Reading in the first half of last season, making eight appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
Already in the winter of this year, the English forward joined West Bromwich, for which he played 15 matches in the Championship and scored three goals in the second half of last season.
