Patrick Roberts left Manchester City for Sunderland

Sunderland announced on its official website the signing of edge midfielder Patrick Roberts, formerly of Manchester City.

The 24-year-old Englishman, who had been under contract with the Citizens since 2015 and wandered around on various rentals, has moved to the third-division club from England on a permanent basis.

The parties signed an initial contract between them until the end of the current season with the possibility of an extension until the end of the 2022/23 campaign.

It is worth noting that Patrick Roberts played a total of three games for Manchester City’s first team, spending a total of 54 minutes on the pitch.
