Club to which Greenwood could move has been named

AC Milan are interested in Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood as the player looks to move abroad.

The 21-year-old Englishman has not played for the Red Devils since January 2022 following his arrest on charges of attempted rape and assaulting his girlfriend. All criminal charges against Greenwood were dropped on 2 February 2023.

Greenwood’s contract runs until the summer of 2025, but the scandalist does not fit into mentor Erik ten Hag’s plans. There have previously been rumours of rental offers and now the Relevo publication reports that AC Milan are mulling a summer transfer for him.

The Rossoneri are considering several options and Greenwood is one of them. Lyon striker Moussa Dembele is another target Milan have their eye on. Several other clubs are also considering signing Greenwood as the former England player looks to rebuild his career, with even considering playing outside the English Premier League.
