Chelsea hold positive talks with Nagelsmann

Former Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann’s talks with Chelsea over the Stamford Bridge job went well last Thursday. The Blues’ new directors Chris Whewell and Lawrence Stewart worked with him at Leipzig.
However, despite positive talks, Chelsea are in no hurry to appoint a permanent coach. The club are not looking for quick fixes and have no plans to interrupt Frank Lampard’s job until the end of this season, despite a disappointing return.
Nagelsmann is one of several candidates Chelsea are considering for the summer, including Luis Enrique, Mauricio Pochettino and Ruben Amorim.
“Sky Sports News” writes that Sporting’s coach Amorim is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge and was considered before the club chose Graham Potter instead in September.
